Kvemo Kartli is a small rural region in the East of Georgia that is home to a number of ethnic minority communities. As a mountainous area with chilly, snowy winters and hot summers, the region usually struggles economically.
The Charte.ge team has identified a total of 101 students in need from the Tsalka and Tetritskaro municipalities who have been deemed socially vulnerable by Social Services have been selected through their local school districts.
The high school students are now equipped with laptops, Internet access, online courses, and training thanks to the online donors of GiveInternet.org and Charte.ge and additional support from corporate donors.
