After the 2008 war between Russia and Georgia, the villages on the border of the two countries have been experiencing severe conflict, instability, and poverty. The so-called Creeping Occupation creates a constant threat to the integrity and the well-being of the local families.

Dvani is one such village where 22 high school students who have been deemed socially vulnerable by Social Services have been selected as our beneficiaries with the help of their local school.

Because broadband connectivity isn’t available here, our partner and a local wifi operator Trialeti Net covered the end-user device installation costs while our online donors sponsor the monthly Internet fees.
