Meet Stephen - a determined 26-year-old from Lodwar, aspiring to make a mark in Kenya's media industry!
Stephen, born into a family of five, completed his primary and secondary education in Lodwar, Turkana County. Pursuing Mass Media Communication at East Africa Institute of Certified Studies introduced him to the world of technology.
Back in Turkana, Stephen created Turkana TV, the first online TV station in the region. According to him, this platform played a role in local politics through debates and forums. Now he aims to become a visual director in film, photography, and graphic design and laptop is crucial in his work, allowing him to use essential software and connect with clients and peers online.
First thing what Stephen did after received his laptop and Internet connection was activating freelancing platforms and installing software from Adobe Cloud. For him, these tools are essential for expanding networks and finding clients for his graphic design and film projects.
Dreaming big, he aspires to be like SK Macharia, owner of Royal Media Services, a significant player in Kenya and Africa's media scene. Stephen aims to make an impact on the media industry.
