Achievement Stories

Some of our students have already changed the course of their lives thanks to the Internet, be it new passions, professions, or academic degrees. We add new stories monthly so check in for more stories on the magic of the Internet!

William, born in Kakuma refugee camp, has never been able to visit his home country. Growing up in the camp has shaped his personality. Sadly, he lost both his parents recently, which has been really challenging for him and his family.

During those difficult times, William found motivation and purpose in his project, "Kakuma Made," which unites a group of talented youth in the refugee camp who excel in various creative fields like painting, design, dancing, and photography. The project has become a way for them to bring a sense of hope to their lives in the camp.

Getting a laptop and internet access would be a huge step for William. It would give him the tools he needs to pursue his dreams in IT and design. With these resources, William hopes to make his dreams come true and build a better future for himself and those around him.
