July 2025 - Monthly Update

Dear Supporter,

Thank you for helping us reach even more students!

 In July,
36 more young learners received laptops and internet access. This month also marked our first-ever visit to the Svaneti, mountainous region of Georgia. In this remote area, laptops and internet access aren’t just helpful — they’re essential for connecting young people to education and opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.

Here’s what we achieved together this month:

Say hello to our students from Georgia and Uganda.

The Georgian students come from Svaneti.  In Uganda students have been connected through our partner organization Era92 to Elevate. They're all eager to learn skills and become graphic designers, videographers and creative directors.

🌟 Partner Spotlight: MIT Emerging Talent

We’re honored to be recommended by MIT Emerging Talent, a global education-to-employment program serving underrepresented communities, including refugees, migrants, and conflict-impacted students.

Since 2023, we’ve worked together to provide laptops and internet access to learners in more than 20 countries — from small towns in Afghanistan to conflict zones in Sudan. Thanks to this collaboration, 30 talented students have been able to fully participate in MIT’s online Certificate in Computer and Data Science program.

MIT Emerging Talent writes: “Give Internet has the network, connections, and operational know-how to make support happen around the world… They’re quick to find solutions, provide high-quality devices, and maintain transparent processes so support reaches the right person at the right time.”

Meet Elizabeth Wambita from Kenya - she founded Femi Tech Developers and runs the Lakeside Foundation, which provides mental health services and supports young women. She is dedicated to giving back to her community.

She was connected to the internet thanks to our partner LakeHub. Watch her inspiring story and see how technology is shaping her future.
