Our Students

Md currently lives in the LEEDO peace home with his huge family of 75. He's a hardworking student with a passion for cricket, loves writing, and although he's studying English right now, he is planning to someday become a pilot and travel the world.

Sherifa Nketsiaba first became interested in IT when she completed Senior High school. She overcame many challenges and acquired exceptional skills from her studies and work experiences. She told us that there’s so much more she can accomplish with the new laptop: “I plan on using the laptop given to me to the very maximum and to enhance my skills and potential.”

Goodness is a nursing student with a bold vision to transform healthcare and fashion through technology. She studies by day, dreams up fashion apps by night, and now codes and works online using her laptop. Previously limited to a crashing phone, she now sees internet access as a path to growth, connection, and change

George recently finished a training course in graphic design. For him, having a computer means having the means to practice and develop in the field which has quickly become his passion. He wants to leverage the opportunities that the Internet offers. In fact, he’s planning to do quality research and connect to the digital market!

Aishat’s dream is to become a computer scientist/software engineer for AI. Currently, she’s studying Python and graphic design and she plans to continue her studies by enrolling at the university. She believes that having Internet access will help her develop both her career and personal life!

With the help and support of her community at LEEDO Peace Home, Farjana is studying engineering at college and improving her Python skills in her free time. Since she has a laptop now, she can continue practicing at home and maybe share it with her 75 brothers and sisters.

Eka's firmly decided to continue her studies in the psychology field! She particularly likes German and Georgian at school. In her leisure time, Eka enjoys playing music. She thinks that the Internet will be a great asset in deepening her knowledge.

Nika hasn't chosen his future profession yet. However, he has already decided that he would like to enroll at Akaki Tsereteli State University. As Nika told us, he enjoys almost every subject in school, but physics is an exception because he barely understands it. Nika thinks the Internet will be a great assist for him to advance his studies.

Sophiko needs the Internet to search for information and to engage in social networks. As she tells us, she loves all school subjects equally. In her free time, she enjoys reading books. Sopiko is undecided about her future profession and the university she wants to enroll at.

George hasn't decided yet which occupation he will choose in the future. His favorite subject at school is Georgian. In his spare time, he likes watching movies. As for the Internet, he is going to use it to deepen his knowledge.

Asmika has already found the main function for her new laptop, she uses it for online learning! As she reported, it has become a source of motivation for her to take part in various competitions. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, watching movies and advancing her skills in making jewelry. She says Russian is the best subject at school. Asmik hasn't chosen neither university nor profession yet. She believes the Internet will be a great asset for her to absorb new information faster and more efficiently.

Anas's favorite subject at school is math but she dislikes physics. she wants to be a translator but because of her financial situation, she can't continue her studies at a university. On the bright side, she has the Internet and a computer which will help her gain lots of new information! She'll use her new resources for education and watching movies.

Vano is a real bookworm! At school, he likes every subject equally and he wants to continue studying at a university but hasn't decided on his profession yet. He'll use the internet and a computer to participate in online lessons.

Temo loves every subject in school equally! Football is his passion since childhood. He hasn't decided on his future profession yet. He'll use the internet for gaining new information!

With the help of the internet, Nini fully gets involved in lessons! In the future, she's planning to continue her studies at a vocational school but she still hasn't decided on what field she'll choose. As she says, reading during her free time is her relief-"I forget everything and relax"- says Nini.

Mariam is learning a new language with the use of the internet! In school, she loves every subject equally but she has a special love for English. She wants to pursue her education at a university and because she's interested in tourism, she'll choose a path connected to it. "I use the internet for looking up information, news, social media and movies"- says Mariam.

Mariam has a passion for photography! During her free time, she likes to find new places and take pictures of them. She thinks that her future profession will be connected to this. As she tells us, she'll use the computer and the internet for learning useful things which will come in handy in the future. Mariam's favorite subject in school is math. As for Nargis, she decided to become a teacher! She plans to continue her studies at Telavi Iakob Gogebashvili University. She especially likes the Georgian language and history. However, unlike her sister, she is not a fan of mathematics. Nargis will use the Internet and computer for learning and development.

Irma's favorite school subject is history. She hasn't decided on her future occupation yet, however, she says she'll use the internet for preparing better presentations. In her free time, she likes doing housework.

Avtandil's favorite school subjects are history and geography. He says he'll mainly use the Internet for homework. In his free time, he likes watching films. As for Tinatin, her favorite subjects are English and Russian, and she enjoys listening to music in her free time.

Ioseb's favorite school subjects are geography and history. In the future, he would like to become a successful journalist. In his free time, he likes playing chess, guitar and fanduri. As for Barbara, she's interested in photography. “I'd use the internet for school materials and informal education”.

Nika has decided to dedicate his life to computer sciences and become programmer. He believes that computer would be a significant tool for his career developement. His favorite pasttime is reading Georgian literature.

Nata is passionate about reading psychological and philosophical books. She has decided to pursue her interest and study psychology at university. At school, her favorite subjects are Georgian and English language and literature. Nata is certain that the Internet will be a very useful tool for her studies

Ana is determined to become a professional chief! At school, she enjoys Math the most. She believes that a new laptop will help her to develop different skills.

Mariam lives in a mountainous village and wants to become a sailor. She loves playing football - she thinks it's the best sport. Her small village recently got broadband coverage and Mariam is excited to use it. "I am a very active student, I always participate in athletic and educational events. During the pandemic, I wasn't able to attend online classes when I was offline. Now that I'm online, I think the Internet will have a big impact on my professional development. It will allow me to even more effectively dive into all opportunities."
