April 2024 - Monthly Update

Thank you for your interest in our mission.

As we move into May, we're excited to share our latest achievements, student stories, and the impact of our donors' support. Last month,
24 new students joined our project. With laptops in hand and sponsored internet access, these students are now ready to begin their educational and professional journey.

Here's a snapshot of our progress:

Meet Brian, aspiring to become a professional web developer.

"Growing up in a small, tight-knit community, I come from a family of seven children. We lived in a modest home. My parents worked tirelessly to ensure that all of us had access to education. The value of hard work, determination, and the importance of education was instilled in us from an early age.”

Brian Kuya is one of our students from Lodwar, Kenya. With the help of your donations, he received a laptop and was enrolled in a skills development program from our partner organization “Learning Lions”. Now he is learning how to code to become a web developer.

in their own words:

"Having access to the Internet means the world to me. A computer is a gateway to the global community. It allows me to connect with like-minded individuals, join coding communities, and collaborate on projects with developers from around the world. It also serves as a means of staying connected with loved ones."
There are 17+ students in Uganda and Kenya currently waiting to receive their laptops and Internet connectivity.
