February 2025 - Monthly Update

Hi there,

Thanks for your interest in our mission.

In February, 35 more learners from underserved communities gained access to laptops and internet connectivity. With these tools, they can continue their studies and build the skills they need for the future.  We’ve also prepared educational resources to help them make the most of their new access.

If you’d like to join us again, consider becoming  a monthly donor  to help sustain this work and reach even more students in the coming months.

Here’s the results we’ve achieved with our supporters:

Say hello to our students from  Georgia, comming from Russian-occupied region of Abkhazia . Alongside them, we’re sharing photos of students we met during our October visit to Kenya. These students, currently residing in Kakuma Refugee camp,  have successfully completed Community Health program in InZone Learning Hub, provided by our partner University of Geneva.

Here, we highlight stories of women's challenges and their
fight for equality.

In the first video, two women from Kakuma Refugee Camp speak about their fight for girls' education and women's rights. In the second, Brizan Were, co-founder of Learning Lions, shares the challenges women face in Africa and how digital skills and internet access are transforming lives in Turkana, Kenya.

See how students' lives change, in their own words:

"Growing up in Korogocho with my grandmother and mum taught me the true meaning of perseverance. Seeing their strength fueled my passion for programming. I'm a frontend developer, obsessed with building elegant and impactful websites. My goal is to inspire girls and friends in our area towards a tech-driven future. I want to contribute to uplifting Korogocho through innovation."
