Empowering Young Women in Rwanda

Ongoing
Rwanda Georgia

Around the world, many girls are held back from economic opportunities by early marriage, teenage pregnancy, and gender-based discrimination. In Rwanda, we help young women from underserved communities take their first steps into the workforce. With access to laptops and the internet, they build digital skills in data analysis, annotation, marketing analytics, and literacy, then apply them through internships and real client projects. Having their own devices and connectivity opens doors to formal employment and remote work that were once out of reach.

As youth unemployment persists in Kenya, we help students in Kisumu build careers in AI, web and app development, cybersecurity, and blockchain. In Kakuma's refugee camps, laptops and home internet open life-changing opportunities where formal jobs are scarce. In Nairobi, we support youth from informal settlements studying coding and front-end development. Across all regions, we empower young women and refugee girls with devices and connectivity to complete training and pursue meaningful careers.
