We are serving our students through our local partners. You can choose to sponsor a specific project or donate to the general fund and leave it up to us to distribute the funds based on what our local teams need.
Giving Internet and Laptops to Sherifa and Tracy in Ghana
For this project, we partnered with She Code Africa, who helped us discover and reach their students - Sherifa and Tracy.
Sherifa Nketsiaba first became interested in IT when she completed Senior High school. She overcame many challenges and acquired exceptional skills from her studies and work experiences. She told us that there’s so much more she can accomplish with the new laptop: “I plan on using the laptop given to me to the very maximum and to enhance my skills and potential.”
As someone who grew up in a loving family radiating with joy and kindness, Tracy understands the impact a sound support system can have on a person's life. With the new laptop, she plans on continuing to give back to her community by conducting free programming classes and website development training for women.
