Giving Internet to Underprivileged Students in Lebanon

One-Off
Georgia

Lebanon, a country rich in culture and history, is currently grappling with a severe economic crisis that has deeply affected its education system. Many students from low-income families struggle to access basic learning tools, including the internet and computers.

In partnership with local organizations on the ground, GiveInternet.org is working to support students who are at risk of falling behind due to lack of connectivity. With the help of our donors, we’ve started providing underprivileged students in Lebanon with laptops and internet access.

Our goal is to ensure these students can continue their education, acquire digital skills, and access global learning opportunities—regardless of their socioeconomic background. By supporting students in Lebanon, we're investing in a more equitable and hopeful future.

How The Money is Spent?

Kenya Kenya

As youth unemployment persists in Kenya, we help students in Kisumu build careers in AI, web and app development, cybersecurity, and blockchain. In Kakuma's refugee camps, laptops and home internet open life-changing opportunities where formal jobs are scarce. In Nairobi, we support youth from informal settlements studying coding and front-end development. Across all regions, we empower young women and refugee girls with devices and connectivity to complete training and pursue meaningful careers.
