We are serving our students through our local partners. You can choose to sponsor a specific project or donate to the general fund and leave it up to us to distribute the funds based on what our local teams need.
Connecting African professionals to global businesses
Kolaborate is a workforce development organization operating across East Africa. They equip young people—particularly women—with the professional skills needed for meaningful employment in the global economy. Through programs in programming, web development, digital marketing, graphic design, data services, and business process outsourcing, Kolaborate helps participants build practical, job-ready skills and connects them with employment opportunities.
Our collaboration focused on supporting an all-women cohort of 20 disadvantaged young women in Rwanda. They were trained in data annotation, data analysis, digital literacy, remote work readiness, and marketing analytics. For many participants, this represented their first pathway into formal employment. Following training, students completed internships and gained hands-on experience working on real client projects through Kolaborate.Africa - a talent platform that connects vetted professionals with global businesses seeking skilled digital professionals.

Uganda
Era92 Elevate builds container classrooms in underserved communities, where students learn technology skills such as web development, design, and digital media. The program also connects graduates to internships, freelance work, and careers in the digital economy.

Kenya
As youth unemployment persists in Kenya, we help students in Kisumu build careers in AI, web and app development, cybersecurity, and blockchain. In Kakuma's refugee camps, laptops and home internet open life-changing opportunities where formal jobs are scarce. In Nairobi, we support youth from informal settlements studying coding and front-end development. Across all regions, we empower young women and refugee girls with devices and connectivity to complete training and pursue meaningful careers.
