Residential programs in tech, business and finance for women in India
NavGurukul is an Indian non-profit organization that is reimagining access to higher education and career opportunities for underserved youth, particularly women and marginalized communities. Founded in 2016, they operate fully funded residential campuses across India. There students receive training in technology, business, and finance while living and learning in a supportive, peer-driven environment.
The organization was created to address the barriers that prevent young people from accessing quality education, including financial constraints, limited exposure to career opportunities, and cultural restrictions. Today, they have helped more than 1,500 graduates secure employment and work with over 120 hiring partners, creating pathways to careers in technology, business, and other high-growth sectors.
Through our partnership, GiveInternet.org supports NavGurukul students who lack access to personal laptops. Many participants come from low-income families and are the first in their families to pursue higher education. A laptop and internet connection can be the missing link between potential and opportunity. By providing both, we help students get the most of their studies, build real skills, and step into employment in the digital economy.
