Learning Lions is a social enterprise based in Turkana, Kenya, dedicated to creating education and employment opportunities for young people in some of the country's most remote and underserved regions. By combining digital skills training with job creation, Learning Lions helps talented refugee youth overcome barriers to education and access meaningful careers in the global digital economy.

The organization's training pathway begins with Mobile LEAP, a six-week digital literacy and personal development bootcamp that introduces students to technology, coding, design, media creation, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Top-performing participants continue into advanced training tracks in technology, creative services, or business, followed by an eight-month specialization program that develops professional-level skills through project-based learning and mentorship from industry professionals.

Beyond training, Learning Lions creates employment channels through Digital Lions, a Fair Trade-certified digital outsourcing agency that connects graduates with real client work in web development, design, content creation, animation, and other digital services. The organization also operates the Startup Lions Campus on the shores of Lake Turkana, providing housing, coworking space, entrepreneurship support, and an innovation ecosystem for young professionals.
